Gangster Squad: You Gotta Die Of Somethin

Plot: One gangster is getting too big for his L.A. britches. A few policemen, let's call them a rag tag squad, try to shut him down.

It's ok.

Review: It is disappointing, but not terrible. There are some cool moments, and Ryan Gosling does his thing to woo not only Emma Stone but the audience. The movie doesn't know what it wants to do. It's 78% film noir, 20% buddy/ensemble comedy [think Ocean's], and 2% Gosling acting cool. Maybe that 2% is enough for you.
